Kaolin

Hydrated aluminum silicate whose main constituent mineral is kaolinite. It can also be found in white, beige, and cream colors.

Interesting fact: The term kaolin is derived from the word Kauling, which means “high hill” in Chinese. As a consequence, it was in this country where a large quantity of this mineral was extracted.
